Hard Drive to SSD Upgrade Service

Because of popular request from our clients, ACE offers upgrade service for replacing conventional mechanical Hard Drive to much faster SSD (Solid State Drive) to revive your old PC or Mac (especially iMac) computers.  You are looking around $800 – $1,000 for typical replacement of PC laptop for your slow performance old laptop.  But please bear in mind that your have to transfer all the existing files and programs to a new laptop.  Under some circumstances, your are not able to transfer software on your old laptop to a new one because of license restrictions.  Worst case scenario  is you have to purchase new software license for the new laptop.

Alternative is to revive your old PC or Mac computers by replacing internal conventional mechanical Hard Drive to SSD.  ACE also offers all the Data Transfer to new SSD so that you do not have to worry about any software licensing issues or data loss.  You will be surprised to see the result of SSD upgrade as your old computer responds at least 5-6 times faster than before.

As to iMac, ACE now offers internal drive upgrade for those iMac released after 2012 as well.  iMac released after 2012 uses adhesive for front LCD to be attached to the  main body.  Other service providers use heat gun to soften the adhesive around the edge then use very thin plastic card to cut out the front LCD.  This method is not recommended as any heat application directly on the front LCD may damage the unit.  ACE uses a special tool to cut adhesive instead.
